Entry Requirements

Your first step, if you have zero experience is to take part in our introduction to flight package which you can book at this link.

You need to be at least 16 to begin training and 17 to be issued your licence. But there’s no upper age limit to train with us as long as you can hold an unrestricted CAA Class 1 Medical.

Pilot Path offer the most flexible & transparent payment plans in Europe for flight training. We offer a range of payment plans across 80% of courses available and are actively pursuing a finance arrangement in the UK with a third party.

The beauty of modular flight training is that it leaves all the decisions within the hands of the student. All aspects of training can be completed in as little as 18 months or as many as 5 years depending on each individuals work, family, financial, and personal commitments.

Introduction to flight

You can request a timeslot for an introduction to flight lesson within our booking system above and our team will confirm back asap if your chosen time is available or not. If it is available, we will provide you with details on how to make payment along with an information pack.

Your introduction to flight experience will last roughly 90 minutes. A member of our team will follow up within 24-hours after your flight with information on getting enrolled and beginning your training.

If you are under 85KG, you will fly a Piper PA-38 Tomohawk aircraft. If you are over 85KG you will fly a Piper PA-28 Cherokee aircraft.

We are more than happy for you to bring a friend or family member along while you complete your introduction to flight!

Our team and the flight school are constantly monitoring weather conditions. If the weather is unsuitable for flying on your chosen date, we will endeavour to inform you of this in advance of you travelling to the airport to complete your flight. We will then reschedule your flight for a new date that suits you best.

Just present your QR code to staff on the day that you will receive ahead of time via email. Casual attire will be fine also, so feel free to wear something comfortable!

Absolutely not! That is the sole purpose of completing our introduction to flight. To provide you with the experience of flying in a training aircraft for the first time before making the decision on moving forward with your flight training.

PPL
